About

From the first lockdown in March 2020 onwards, we worked hard to establish safe and COVID-secure working practices that enabled our team to continue delivering essential electrical engineering services while following the government restrictions and guidance in place at the time.

This meant customers could continue to rely on Pearson Marine for everything from standard electrical and motor rewind projects to urgent repairs and emergency call-outs.

Working Safely Throughout the Pandemic

Our team of highly skilled electricians and armature winders adapted quickly to new ways of working. Appropriate social distancing, hand sanitisation and mask wearing became part of our everyday procedures, helping us safeguard our customers, their employees and our own team.

We also worked closely with individual businesses to follow any additional measures they had introduced, including temperature checks and preventative COVID testing.

By adapting our working practices and responding to the challenges presented by the pandemic, Pearson Marine was able to remain operational and continue providing the reliable service our customers depended on.

The period demonstrated the flexibility, commitment and professionalism of our team, ensuring essential electrical engineering and motor rewind services could continue safely when our customers needed them most.

Our Managing Director, Mark Pearson, said: “We understand it’s especially important for companies to maintain productivity in these challenging times – whether they are in a critical industry such as energy generation, shipping and logistics; or one of the sectors experiencing unprecedented demand, such as pharmaceuticals, food and the manufacturer of vital goods such as personal protective equipment (PPE).

“The last thing they can afford to happen is an electrical outage or fault that stops production – and they need to ensure that any projects already under way are delivered in a timely manner.

“This is why we have pulled out all the stops to ensure we can continue to meet their demands without interruption, and in a safe and professional manner.”

We’ve been working closely with our valued clients throughout the pandemic – many of which provide essential services and supplies – to help them continue operating during this challenging time, including introducing special shift systems to enable social distancing, as well as additional hygiene measures.

Our team are skilled in all aspects of industrial and commercial electrical work, with particular specialisms in marine, renewable energy, offshore and hazardous area work. We also undertake large-scale electrical project planning and delivery, such as full warehouse or marine vessel wiring and re-wiring.
